You, Me, WE

This 60-foot mural is installed on the Safeway grocery store located at Shelby and Raymond Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A tangle of pedestrian, bike, bus rapid transit, and car traffic, this intersection is an obstacle for folks south, near the park, trying to reach the only grocery store in the neighborhood - the Safeway where this mural is located. This area also creates challenges for neighbors north of the intersection trying to reach the 120 acre park just south. Depicting a vibrant sacred geometry pattern, You, Me, WE brings the green of historic Garfield Park north of Raymond Street as an expression of the connection and unity of our neighborhood across infrastructural barriers.
